Visited twice for breakfast as staying nearby, we always visit here as very friendly, welcoming staff and delicious food. We enjoyed tasty coffee and delicious breakfast bagels, a special , bacon, egg, cheese, and sausage, and a house bagel, egg, bacon, and cheese served with a tasty salad and nachos. All our good was well presented and freshly made. Highly Recommend a visit here, see you next time we are in Edinburgh. :) :)

One off The Best Halal Restaurant in Edinburgh Old Town Mr. Ziya was Very kind & Friend We Had Angus Beef Burger & Turkey Bacon Roll which was scrumptious and The Meat was Also Fresh
I have tried a couple of places for breakfast, and Zaza is my favourite. The food is very delicious, staff are friendly and the place is cosy with great view over the castle. They have halal food as well.
Zaza's Cafe was a great find for me in Edinburgh. I took my chance because I saw some empty seats. For April it was a chilly day and I was hoping for some soup to heat me up. I wasn't disappointed I had lentil soup and it was lovely. What really impressed me was that they served toast and salad with it. I found the staff very friendly and a really good service.
Today i visited finally.Great place and great people. The traditional scottish breakfast was very delicious. The staff was extremely polite and fast.Good location... Greetings from Turkey-Izmir
Needed to get a start in the morning, so we stopped here for a bite. It wasn’t too crowded for mid morning, so we sat in. I got a Cappuccino and he got a Hot Chocolate. For food, I got a Hot Croissant with Bacon and Cheese. He got the English Breakfast for a more fuller meal. It fit well for both of us before we started heading to Edinburgh Castle. Since a college is nearby, there was a younger crowd but don’t worry about fitting in as all are welcome. Heck, they let is in
Very delicious food, view of Edinburgh Castle, very friendly staff, highly recommended!
